1) Just because someone doesn’t comment on a post doesn’t mean they didn’t see it.
2) The material you post is a direct representative of who you are as a person.
3) Anything that you post will automatically have more then one contradiction, whether it is based on opinion, perception or, in a rare case, fact.
4) Opinions are like a**holes: everyone’s got ‘em and most of them stink; but even an a**hole smells like a bed of roses to somebody.
5) On YouTube: The more you click on a suggested link on a page, the further you get away from the original topic.
6) A Twitter Rule: a hash topic with 4 or more words is not a real topic worth searching.
7) 4Chan is the 10th Circle of Hell for which there is no redemption.
8) Any meme, organization, petition or page can be given awareness if you have enough supporters.
9) Just because the internet says it’s okay doesn’t mean the rest of the world will agree.
10) Any forms of internet foreplay will never replace the real world need of coitus.
11) A YouTube Rule: AMVs, tutorials, vlogs, music tracks w/ still images or shock jock videos are not suitable content. The only exception is if high quality, non-copyrighted production values are throughout the entire duration and would look good in a portfolio, which will actually get you a real job.
12) Flame Wars should be taken outside.
13) Don’t air your dirty laundry on anything on the internet unless you want feedback.
14) Criticism goes both ways. If you’re not willing to take any, don’t dish any.
15) MySpace is on life support & its offspring are much better without it.
16) The concepts of Win and Fail are generally based on motive, forethought, execution and interpretation in that order with the written conclusion being the dominant result.
17) Sarcasm does not translate well over a neutral layout of text, such as e-mails or txt messages. Only the immediate use of emoticons, abbreviations or faux laughter can give indication that a joke was just used. (There is nothing against not using this, however, only if you want to keep things interesting.)
18) Regardless of whether a video or gif of yourself was “just to be funny”, if it’s idiotic enough, people will be too upset to care about that oversight. (See Rule #2)
19) With any Meme or fad, there is bound to be someone getting inspiration from it and making it better. I.e: If there’s a modern invention out there, someone is probably working on a Steam Punk version of it as we speak.
20) Even if you say all the right things at the right time in the right sequence with the right punctuation, you’re still going to be wrong to somebody.
